Here at SKINSCAR Clinic, we make it our mission to provide specialist skin and scar treatment that caters to the needs of the individual. Alongside our Harley Street based practice, our sites in Cambridgeshire are ready to welcome patients looking for accessible, ethical, consultant-delivered care for various skin conditions and scarring.

In this blog post, we introduce our two Cambridgeshire locations as well as the different types of treatments and services on offer.

The Day Clinic

Based just a stone’s throw away from Cambridge, Great Shelford is a charming village that is also home to The Day Clinic. It’s here you’ll find the SKINSCAR team, and the exciting range of treatments they are known and applauded for. This includes mole, cyst and lipoma removal, surgical treatments that are among our most popular services and provide dramatic results for the affected individual.

We also specialise in the removal of skin tags, warts and verruca's, growths that are not typically troubling to health but can cause discomfort.

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital

We venture to the heart of Cambridge to find our second site outside of London. Located just three miles from the city centre, Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is easy to access and fully equipped to provide a complete range of skin treatments and surgeries.

Those travelling to SKINSCAR Clinic from further afield will find transport routes from London Stansted Airport, Cambridge train station, and London’s King’s Cross and Liverpool Street stations particularly convenient. Our expertise in skin surgery, skin cancer treatment, scar improvement and dermatology promises great results and guidance for all.

Skin treatments in Cambridgeshire

With extensive experience as a plastic surgeon and specialist expertise in the treatment and reconstruction of skin cancers and scar optimisation, SKINSCAR Clinic founder Mr Ahid Abood delivers cosmetic and surgical techniques that are at the very forefront of the sector.

Mr Abood has trained extensively all over the world. During his career, he’s gained several fellowships, published his work in more than 30 medical journals, and authored numerous book chapters on his areas of expertise. By day, Mr Abood also works for the NHS as the clinical lead for major trauma reconstruction at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

His mission to give patients access to consultant-led care has been realised across all three SKINSCAR sites, including his two Cambridgeshire based practices and Harley Street clinic in London. To discover more about the treatments on offer at SKINSCAR Clinic, please contact our team today.
